  • Composites

A composite combines two or more materials, where the sum of their properties is much greater than the sum of their individual components. Carbon and fiberglass use  resins and fibers to build a profile that withstands both tensile and compressive forces applied to it (and some- times loads in other directions, like torsional forces) and results in a high strength-to-weight ratio.  The lightness and durability of carbon and fiberglass rods and tubes make them  ideal replacement for steel and aluminum in many industrial applications.  Their structural integrity lends them to use in aerospace, musical instruments, and a variety of other purposes.

If you are looking to purchase small quantities of carbon or fiberglass for home use in kites, RC models,
or other home use, please visit our retail store at www.Goodwinds.com.
